Television
To use the Insignia TV
- Turn on satellite box with Dish Network Remote or by hand.
- Turn on TV with Insignia Remote or by hand.
- Use Dish Network Remote to change the channels or press "Guide" to see what programs are on.
- Use Insignia Remote to change the volume or mute.
Trouble Shooting
- Make sure TV is on channel 3 (use Insignia Remote).
- Press "Input" on the Insignia Remote and make sure "Satellite" is selected. If it is not press the up or down arrow to select it.
Watching a DVD
- Turn on TV with Insignia Remote or by hand.
- Turn on the Sony DVD player with the Sony Remote or by hand.
- Press "Input" on the Insignia Remote and make sure "DVD" is selected. If it is not press the up or down arrow to select it.
- Use Sony Remote to play DVD.
- Use Insignia Remote to control volume or mute.
Trouble Shooting
- Make sure TV is on channel 3 (use Insignia Remote).
- Make sure Sony DVD player is on before you try to change the Input on the Insignia Remote.
- Make sure that the Sony Remote is on DVD and not on TV.
NOTE: The Sony Remote no longer is used to control the TV, keep the setting on TV.
