Air & Heat

• The Nest Thermostat is located in the wood paneled TV room above the desk across from the guest bathroom.
• The face of the Thermostat will be dark until you approach it or touch it.

Nest thermostats don’t have a touch screen. Use it just like a normal thermostat, turn the ring up when you want it a little warmer, and turn it down when you want it a little cooler.

Press your thermostat ring towards the wall to see more options.
Turn the ring to select an option.
Press the ring again to confirm your selection.

The air return for the air-conditioner and heat system is located across from the guest bathroom in the wall under the desk.

• Undo the clips holding the louvered white grate and it will swing down.
• Pull out the old filter and replace it with a new filter (write the date installed on the new filter).
• Size of filter: 20"x25"x1"

The Electric Baseboard heaters on the porch are plug in, and controlled on each separate device.

• Turn the switch on.
• Turn the dial to the desired level.
• Be sure to turn off each baseboard when you leave Capola.

The Electric Baseboard heaters are still powered, and located in every room, except the porch.

Use them in the bathrooms, but do not use them in any other room, unless you need additional heat to stay warm. Bummy's bedroom is one location that it is sometimes used.

In the bathrooms, only turn the heat dial on slightly (to the red mark) otherwise it will get too hot. Be sure to turn the dial off, when you leave Capola.
